There has always been a surf culture in PCB. Some might view it as fickle because of the lack of surf in our area but just ask a hardcore surfer if he believes in the Panhandle surf scene and see what he says. Our scene is thick, just ask the hundreds of dudes clogging the pass on any day when the waves are pumping.
You will also be able to gauge the love of waves this Monday (August 15th) at the PCB premier of Bustin Down the Door, a new surf film chronicling the rise of the surf sport in Hawaii.
